At the LSR7 Community Breakfast & Real World Learning Showcase, you’ll hear directly from students, educators, and business partners about how Lee’s Summit is connecting learning to life.

The event begins with an open-house style Real World Learning Showcase and breakfast from 8:00–8:30 AM, where guests can explore displays highlighting real-world learning experiences across our district. From 8:30–9:30 AM, our student-led program will take you through the journey of Real-World Learning in LSR7—from early career exploration in elementary school to internships, client-connected projects, and youth apprenticeships in high school.

During the program, you will:

* Hear from students who are building real-world skills through authentic learning experiences

* Learn how local businesses are partnering with schools to create meaningful opportunities

* See how LSR7 is working toward its goal that 98% of graduates earn a Market Value Asset by 2027

This event is hosted by the LSR7 Career Education Department and the Lee’s Summit Educational Foundation, and will be led by LSR7 students who are experiencing these opportunities firsthand.
