Abundant Life CORE Building | Lee’s Summit, Missouri
Every woman has a story—and it’s still being written.
Some chapters are filled with achievement and celebration. Others are shaped by challenge, change, uncertainty, or unexpected turns. Every experience, relationship, success, setback, and lesson contributes to the story that makes us who we are.
At the 2026 Women in Business Conference, we’ll explore the power of your story—not just the stories you share with others, but the stories you tell yourself.
Through two inspiring keynote experiences, five engaging breakout sessions to choose from, meaningful networking, and an opportunity to give back, you’ll have the chance to reflect on the chapters that have shaped you, embrace where you are today, and gain practical tools and perspective for the chapters still to come.
Your Story. Your Voice. Your Next Chapter.
Our keynote experiences will explore what it means to take ownership of your narrative, recognize your voice, and confidently step into the authorship of your own life. You’ll also hear how trust, partnership, and challenging one another can create powerful and successful chapters in business.
Then, choose two of five breakout sessions designed to help you put the theme into practice. Explore topics including:
- Rest as a Chapter: Restore your brain power and learn how rest can become a tool for greater focus and well-being.
- Write It Messy: Stop waiting for the perfect moment and take the first imperfect step toward what you’ve been putting off.
- The Power of Boundaries: Protect your peace, communicate with confidence, and navigate difficult workplace conversations without sacrificing your professionalism.
- Meet the Inner Critic: Your Story’s Villain: Recognize the voice that holds you back and begin replacing it with a stronger, more compassionate inner narrator.
- Journaling to Protect Your Main Character Energy: Use writing to reflect on the past, process the present, and intentionally plan for the future.
The day will also include opportunities to connect with other women in business, build meaningful relationships, and step away from the everyday pace of work to invest in yourself and your professional journey.
And because our stories are also shaped by how we show up for others, attendees will have an opportunity to give back through a supply-packing session supporting Convoy of Hope.
A Conference for Every Stage of the Story
Whether you’re a young professional taking your first steps, an entrepreneur building something of your own, an established leader, or somewhere in between, there is a place for you at this conference.
The Lee’s Summit Chamber’s Women in Business Conference brings together women from Lee’s Summit, eastern Jackson County, and communities throughout the greater region for a day of connection, professional development, inspiration, and meaningful conversation.
Your story doesn’t have to be perfect. It just has to be yours.
Every experience has value. Every lesson has purpose. Every chapter counts.
Join us November 4 and explore the power of your story.
