Fall is here, and that means the return of the Chamber’s annual Trunk or Treat — with a spooky new twist!

This year, the Chamber Young Professionals are transforming Green Street in Downtown Lee’s Summit into “Treat Street” for an evening of Halloween fun for the whole family!

Join us Thursday, Oct. 29, from 5–7 p.m. at Green Street for a spooktacular night featuring free candy, spooky inflatables, music, food trucks, fun crafts, hot chocolate and local businesses ready to entertain and connect with the community.

Instead of traditional decorated trunks, participating businesses will set up festive tables inside the Green Street Market or outside under the covered pavilion. Businesses can decorate their space, dress in costume and hand out candy and promotional materials while interacting with families.

Businesses are also encouraged to offer a fun, simple activity for kids at their table. Past activities have included games such as putt-putt, bean bag toss and Plinko — so get creative!

Ways to Get Involved

1. Register as a Treat Street Vendor for $35
Set up a decorated table, pass out candy and promotional materials, and connect with local families. Don't forget to dress up!

Vendors may choose an interior or exterior space, as available. All vendors must provide their own tables and candy. Vendor booths are approximately 10'x10'. XL Vendor booths are available for $70, measuring 10 ' x 20 '.
Exterior vendors may bring a tent to allow for additional decorations.
Tents are not permitted inside the Green Street Market to help protect the flooring.
Outdoor vendors with tents are advised to bring weights; staking is not permitted.
Electricity will be available indoors and outdoors; please bring your own extension cords.
Prizes will be awarded for Best Decorated Space, Best Dressed and Best Activity!

2. Volunteer
Help make Treat Street a success by assisting with setup and teardown, community signage, hot chocolate and other event activities. Contact staff liaison Denise Elam at delam@lschamber.com for more information.

3. Sponsor the Event
Put your business in front of local families and community members by sponsoring select aspects of this spooktacular event. Sponsorship opportunities include promotional exposure through the Chamber’s marketing channels.

Treat Street is a free community event and a fun way for families to celebrate Halloween while connecting with local businesses and organizations.

Please note: This is a family-friendly event. Decorations, costumes and activities should be age-appropriate and kid-friendly. No politically affiliated decorations or decorations depicting weapons, violence or drugs. No dogs are permitted.
