May Luncheon Service Spotlight: To help meet the growing need for food and essential supplies in our community, the Lee’s Summit Chamber’s RISE Committee hosts monthly collections at each Chamber luncheon in partnership with local food organizations. We invite our business community to join us in supporting families facing these insecurities. Businesses interested in hosting a collection can contact Linda Driskill at ldriskill@lschamber.com.

This month, we are proud to support Meals on Wheels of Lee's Summit.

Meals on Wheels of Lee's Summit is a local nonprofit delivering 150+ hot nutritious dietary specific meals each weekday for over 50 years to the elderly & disabled citizens of Lee's Summit enabling them to enjoy a more independent lifestyle.  This organization relies on generous donors and volunteers to operate.  They currently need volunteers Monday - Friday; as well as continued financial support from the Lee's Summit community, as it is not government funded.  For more information, please stop by their table at the luncheon or visit their website at mealsonwheelsls.org.
