Monthly Luncheon - State of Schools Address

Join us for our annual State of the Schools Address as we listen and learn from administration from LSR-7 and the Blue Springs School District along with our private schools Saint Michaels and Summit Christian Academy. Hear highlights from each and dive into their own respective accomplishments!  Plus, learn what goals they've set for the remainder of the school year as they finish strong!  Speakers include Dr. David Buck from the LSR-7 School District, Dr. Bob Jerome from Blue Springs School District, Chris Hahn from Summit Christian Academy and more! You don't want to miss this!  

February Luncheon Service Spotlight:

Due to the growing need for food and essential supplies in our community, the Lee’s Summit Chamber’s RISE Committee is taking action year-round by partnering with local food organizations through monthly collections at each Chamber luncheon. Chamber businesses are encouraged to come together to support families facing food and basic essential supplies insecurity. Businesses interested in hosting a collection at their own location may contact Linda Driskill at ldriskill@lschamber.com.

This month, we are proud to support One Good Meal, a local nonprofit delivering 150+ meals each weekday to homebound and elderly residents in Lee’s Summit regardless of their ability to pay. One Good Meal relies on generous donors and volunteers to operate. Currently, they need:

  1. Meal delivery volunteers for 2-hour shifts on Monday, Wednesday, and/or Thursday from 10:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m. 
  2. Prepackaged cookies.

If you can support this organization, please bring prepackaged cookies to the February luncheon or contact Roberta McArthur at onegoodmealinfo@gmail.com.
